Student Book Reviews
I love to read. I love to tell my students about great books to read. But unfortunately I don't have all the time I would like to read and can't read every book in the library. So I am enlisting the help of students to review books that I haven't read. Also I would like to add student book reviews for books that I have read to provide others with a different perspective. Below you will find book reviews written by the students of Ider High School and also the form to fill out if you want to write a book review.
Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
Review by Johnathan Hunter
The book Hush, Hush is like a cross between a love story and an action novel. .A 16 year old girl named Nora Grey meets a fallen angel named Patch, and at first he wants to get close to her so he can kill her to get a human body.
My opinion about the book is it is one of the best books I have ever read. Reading is the best past time ever & I can't wait to finish the series.

The Dead-Tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan
Review By Mikayla Miller
The Dead-Tossed Waves is about a girl named Gabrielle who lives in a town near the ocean. She lives in a lighthouse with her mother. they live in a world where the dead don't always stay dead. To the people of her city they are known as Mudo or Unconsecrated, to some people. One night Gabrielle and a few of her friends decide to cross the barrier and are have a lot of fun when suddenly an Unconsecrated or Mudo (zombie) attacks their group and a majority of them are captured and are sent to prison. Her best friend's brother gets infected and runs
into the ruins to hide. This book is completely awesome but isn't as good as the first book to the series. I promise you will not be able to put this book down once you start reading it. It's a tale of romance, secrets, lies, and
flesh-eating zombies. I couldn't stop reading this book, but be sure to read The Forest of Hands and Teeth first.
It was an amazingy book and I love it almost as much as I loved the first
book. I thought it was one of the best zombie books that I have ever read. All
of the characters except for one were completely believable and terrific, but
there was one that I thought was just too coincidential to be in this particular
book. Other than that though it was absolutely fantastic and I can't wait for
the next one!!!!

Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini
Review by Courtney Bain
Helen's mother has been gone since she was a baby, leaving her and her
father alone. the only thing she has from her is a necklace. Helen always knew she was different from everyone else, but she didn't realize that their are people like her until the Delos family moves into town. The Delos family learns of Helen and teaches her the powers in which she was born with. On top of everything else she wants to kill Lucas Delos and she dosen't know why she wants to.
I love this book!!!!! It was amazing. I give five stars all the way. The woman who wrote this book has a great imagination. You would fall in love with all the characters... well except the bad guys. I couldn't put down the book hardly until I finished it.
